WHAT I BELIEVE
Thank you for clicking.
I Hope you enjoy reading this. It will help you understand more about myself.
...at the very least, maybe you'll find out something you never understood or knew before.
First, let me state what I primarily Believe, what I simply trust in ....no more, ...no less
....that Christ Died for Our Sins
according to the scriptures
...and that He was Buried, and that He Rose Again the Third Day
according to the scriptures
This is what is referred to and known as the "GOOD NEWS"
DO YOU BELIEVE IT?
I know what you're thinking ....what about the "rest" of it? Well, maybe there's a few other things you have to understand:
- Who is Christ? The context in scripture is referring to none other than Jesus Christ. God Himself in the Flesh. "Emmanuel" (God With Us). Born of a virgin ...the "only begotten" Son of God. That means there isn't "more than one". He's the only one.
- Our Sins? ...He died for all sin, transgression and imperfection, for not just you, but for everyone who's ever lived ....all humanity. He was the ultimate "perfect" blood sacrifice, once ...and for all time. He said with his last breaths "It Is FINISHED". Never to be repeated.
- Rose from the Dead? ...Yes, bodily and physically. Where is He now? ...back on His throne in heaven, mainly to make preparations, and before He left, He promised He would be coming back.
- Jesus made the Following Statement, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
...but otherwise, THAT'S IT! ....YES, ....IT'S THAT SIMPLE and EASY
...but what about the rest of it?
...the rest of it? Well, instead of "resting" in the above, man always changes or adds more to the mix, sometimes a little, ...sometimes a complete re-write.
"Religion" and this "World" we live in ends up turning something as beautiful and simple as the above into a large giant mess.
One of the major things I've dealt with throughout my entire life, and I'm sure a LOT of people out there have struggled with.....
.......................................................................................................................................................................................
IF GOD is REAL and really exists, and truth is supposed to be simple
and God states in His word that He's not the author of confusion....
...Then ....why is it such a "mess" and Confusing?
I'll start off with the best most straight-forward un-adulterated nonconfusing video I am in complete agreement with.....
(and I've seen a crap ton of them over the past decade, most of them worthless)
I hope that put some "perspective" on things.....
The love of God and His gift of Eternal Life are just that! ....it is, and always has been, a free gift. One that is either accepted, or rejected.
...the common man in this day and age "struggles" to understand the unconditional love and character of God, and it's why the "majority" of people in the world can't wrap their head around it, ...including those who seem religious and morally upright. Many either blindly attempt to serve (or obey) Him, or they outright reject Him, or (worse) ....run away from Him in "fear" and with "indifference".
That's what happened to me, for the majority of my life.
Being an anonymous 'persona' in a "virtual world" seems contradictory to everything I'm talking about and explaining here.
WHO ARE YOU Jesse ? (more about myself)
Most of my reasons for my hobby and existence in 3D virtual worlds and who I am are deeply "personal". ...in real life I'm an older person who is in their 60's, someone who grew up in music and loves smooth jazz and extreme hard rock (as well as other things). I've seen and experienced a lot of things, some of wish I could forget, and in a sense, still wanting to "escape". On the flip-side, I'm a big kid, ...one who chooses to revert back to thinking and even being like a child in many respects (I enjoy playing and having "fun"), at the same time very much an adult with lots of responsibilities, and still haunted by my past and my failures. I'm certainly not one of those "perfect" people. I'm more at the 'opposite' end of the spectrum, and I'm sure most people who don't give a crap about God certainly "act better" and are better people than myself. ...and anyone who thinks that people change "overnight" are fooling themselves. Maybe some do, but change for most is usually a slow process, step-by-step for most people, sometimes an entire lifetime. But the topic here is not about "me" at all. It's about something much bigger than me, and you have to look at the whole entire big picture. Not of churches or religion, ...but of history, of our world, of witnessable and testable Creation .....and I probably suck at trying to explain anything, but I'll try to give it my best shot here. Here we go.....
----------------------------------------------------------------
King Solomon was the "one" individual who God allowed to (seemingly) be the most "blessed" person ever, to literally do and have "everything". With his wisdom, he looked at and tested everything, ...probably the wisest, wealthiest, and possibly the most powerful and influential King and monarch in world history. He lived a a lifetime of having "everything" that anyone could ever want, have, or even 'dream' about, ....and "doing" and learning about everything there is to know, ...the good, the bad, and the "ugly", questioning and digger deeper into everything. ...but even with all the supernatural "wisdom" he was endowed with by the Creator, later in his life he still managed to come to wrong conclusions and make some pretty BAD decisions. Yet, after all was said and done, ...at the end of his life, he said.....
"I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens." "I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind. (Eccl. 1:13)
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." (Eccl. 12:13)
...a 'strange' thing to say in light of the video above. So, did Solomon get it right?, ...or at the end of his life, did he see God as someone to just "fear and obey"? ...he sincerely started out very well, but eventually he 'compromised' in what he allowed to happen and take place in his kingdom (the empire of Israel). His downfall started when he was heavily influenced by his foreign pagan wives (700 marriages), and with the rites and worship of false gods and dark things he should never have messed with. He forgot about His relationship with his Creator, and focused more on his relationship with the world (kingdoms) and those in influence around him, and as a result, his kingdom suffered tremendous consequences. However, I do think that Solomon's greatest wisdom (or wake-up-call) was in what he realized at the very end. As Jesus said, "You can't serve two opposing masters, because you will love one, and despise and hate the other".
That opposing master can be anything: ...the world, things in this world, another god, another truth, or (usually) our own self.
----------------------------------------------------------------
But let's move on to the BIG question, "what 'really' happens when our life or existence in this reality is done"?
We tend to think of our life as a linear, ...a chapter or chapters in a book (history) that either just 'end', ...or continue and "play-out". The concept of time is true, but perhaps the afterlife or what we think of as our "existence" now, and after we're all dead and gone, is not just a "linear" one....
....but also a "Layered" parallel one, which brings us to the principle of being either "with" or "separated from" God.
....the Creator who is described as the 'Alpha and Omega' and is "outside" of time.
Another truth scripture declares is that "...the Life is in the blood". Well, blood must be pretty important then, because the concept of 'blood sacrifice' seems to show up in a lot of religious belief, from Christianity to satanism, and is recorded throughout ALL of history. God says He made it specifically to carry "life", not in just the 'life-saving' sense, ...but our own life, our nephesh or soul ...is "IN" it. True science has discovered and proven that ancient dried blood still contains extreme microscopic particles deep within it that are very much alive and moving, so there's something distinct and special about it. Now let's discuss modern belief, and what all those "shadows" of all the 'blood sacrifices' from Genesis, the Passover, and the temple system in Israel ....were all actually pointing to.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Now, ...we all know that Judaeo-Christianity is 'supposedly' the world's largest "belief" system in the world, yet....
- In Christianity alone, there are over 45,000 Christian denominations in the world, and most of them have radically different beliefs and viewpoints on literally "everything". Worse, some of them are Christian in name 'only', and bear very little resemblance or share absolutely "nothing" in common with what real Christianity actually is (from scripture) or what it's supposed to represent or be about. ...and even when 'truth' is presented, a lot of people see or sense something "very wrong" or "off", or ...these churches are just "dead" or even clueless. ....and a lot of people are leaving or even running away from God altogether. They're tired of it all and they give up, moving on in life, and trying to find answers elsewhere, or looking for an 'escape' or another way out. I wonder "why" that is...
It's the "result" of God's image (within us) clashing w/ an imperfect human nature, and the 'imperfect world' that humanity exists in
- I find it really interesting that lot of people who think of themselves as "Christian" can't even tell you who Jesus actually is or what He actually did and accomplished, ...or if they "do" know, they either don't fully understand it, or (worse) don't actually believe all of it. Here's an example of what I mean:
Scripture states that Jesus rose bodily and physically from the dead, ate fish afterwards, and Thomas touched him, felt His wounds, even put his hand into His side where the spear went up into Him. He wasn't some ghost or spirit ...and afterwards was seen by over 500 witnesses, then (here's a good one) .......ascended upwards into the sky and back to His throne.
- ....so, fact or fiction? (see what I'm getting at?) Many who call themselves or "think" they are Christian have never really 'read' scripture or understood it, and if they do understand it ...they write it off as a myth or fairy-tale, or embellishments and exaggerations written by men. ......but even for those who "do" believe the truth of scripture and about Jesus, ....one would think that would be enough. Unfortunately, the denominational & theological 'madness' doesn't just stop there. Those in the Christian world at large have been indoctrinated with a lot of different "side-theologies", mostly about the state of man, the afterlife, and "what is required" or necessary to be ready for it.....
...these are the three main schools-of-thought out there:
- Christian Universalism is the belief that God uses and can be found in all religions, beliefs, and cultures to draw everyone to Himself, based on His character and goodness, morality, and what's right and wrong. A main thought within this (and outside of it) is that everyone goes to heaven, ...or, to a "better place", to be with and be re-united with their God and Creator, and their loved ones. Basically, a general happy "storybook ending". (....no Jesus required).
- The majority of people who claim to be Christian think that just "being good", "doing what's right" or having "good intentions" gets them in a right-standing with their Creator, like there's some heavenly 'balance' or scales-of-justice that tip to one side, or to the other, living their life and never thinking about, nor ever certain what will happen once they're gone. (....again, Jesus not necessarily required).
- ...then you have (what I like to refer to as) the 'death-cult' denominations, those churches and ministries who believe and even preach the proper doctrine and truth about Jesus, but then ...also add-in the necessity of keeping up your own works and goodness to "maintain" your right-standing with God, ...or you'll lose it, be rejected, and burn in hell forever and ever, ....along with the constant shame, guilt, insecurity and torment it causes. They have a way of being subtle about it, and even making it seem like the truth. But the truth is that you'll never be able to be good enough or live up to the 'standard' these churches and denominations boast about and expect. There's a large "psychological" controlling element always in the undercurrent, keeping everyone "in-check" and in obedience to "their" will. The message given is wrapped up in hope for those who 'do' make the grade, ...but for everyone else...
....it installs fear, hopelessness, and will literally suck the life right out of you.
Many are perpetually made to feel guilty, or shunned, or worse. ....ignored, humiliated, or even cut off. Most just run away.
Unfortunately, most 'also' end up running away from God too, and want nothing to do with Him.
This is the brainwashing militant experience I had to endure and suffer with at a young age, and what I eventually ran away from, ...and unfortunately (I hate to admit) has subconsciously affected me for most of my life. (....what kind of 'good news' is "that"? 😞)
BTW, It took me a long time to learn that churches were supposed to be Hospitals for the sick, not "Museums" for the self-righteous....
The three doctrines above are nothing more than man's wisdom. Nothing more, nothing less. Like Solomon said, "Meaningless". WHY?
Because scripture actually states, and repeats over and over again ...that God's nature is "Perfect", and His standard, is "Perfection".
----------------------------------------------------------------
So what? ....there are a lot of other conceptualizations, ideologies, and religions out there....
....so WHY JESUS? Why trust 'that' narrative?
...Scripture, Historical Documentation, ...and especially "Prophecy" along with it's statistical odds are a good source of evidence.
Fulfillment of Prophecy the biggest one, and I'll get to that in depth (towards the end at the bottom).
but so are life experiences and being a witness to some very interesting and unexplainable events in one's life.
The one thing I cannot refute or dispute is that....
...in modern times, with plenty of documented evidence, or even witnessing it ...in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ:
People with terminal illnesses and defects have been fully healed with no recurrence
People who were near death or already clinically dead ...came back again
Others have either been spared, survived, escaped, or walked-away from devastating accidents and acts of destruction
Paranormal and unexplainable spiritual activity ceases and stops
Alien abductions and encounters cease and stop (M.U.F.O.N. - over 400 documented cases)
It's not so much about what's Good or bad, right or wrong, or any ideaology
It's about a person
...understanding the person or 'character' of God
....throw-out everything you know about church or religious culture or history....
You have to go back ...all the way to the very beginning (Genesis/Gemini) when God made man in his own image, male and female.
According to scripture, in the very beginning, our known world started out pure, perfect and good, and so was the first man and woman, who were literally able to 'walk and talk' with their Creator. At the time, they were created in a perfect world.
Several important foundational institutions were established back then, that a lot of people forget about:
- The first was our 'relationship' with our Creator God
- The second was our dominion over, care of, interaction with, and provision of and from our natural world.
- The third was another relationship: gender, companionship, sex and procreation, all leading to the most important one for the future...
- The love of and "relationship" with our children, our families ...and beyond (our relationship with others).
Why do you think "life", "marriage", and "relationship" are among the most important and sacred things?
It was good, pure, and simple ....and this makes it easier to really understand the character of God and the world He had planned for humanity. Everything was "GOOD". ....and there was no imperfection, sin, death or chaos.
....but man wanted something he wasn't supposed to have or acquire, a certain "knowledge" of something. It caused them to doubt and not trust their Creator, and was ultimately something that affected them (and those after them). Whatever it was....
The Knowledge of (both) Good and Evil
that 'awareness' and 'responsibility' was too much for them to handle....and everything changed from that point on, as a result of it.
...so what about NOW? In This Life. The one I'm living in right now...
No one is perfect. We're all apparently born into an "imperfect" world and in an "imperfect" state. The religious world likes to call it "sin". ....in a world where good and bad things exist, abound, and happen, including within our own selves. If you can't see it in the world and life you're experiencing right now, then I would say you're blind (or not looking). Some explain it away as the law of "karma" or "yin and yang" and embrace and accept 'that' as the natural law of the universe. Some live by the "golden rule" of 'do unto' others as you want them to 'do unto' you. Some live by some moral code or whatever they think "morality" is. That all sounds great, but something ends up missing.
....it usually leaves out God the Creator out of the equation. ...who is The Tree of LIFE ... the source of life itself
However, scripture teaches us the truth ...if humanity was initially made in the 'image' of the Creator, then perhaps that explains why we have a conscience ...that God's truth is written in our hearts, and probably even in our DNA (the code-book of life). It explains why so many people spend their lives trying to fill some "Hole" or "Void", chasing after something, ...yet never understanding or figuring out what they're actually trying to find or are really looking for. God is not some abstract idea or energy force to "tap into". He is a Person. He loves us, and wants us all to love Him, love one another, live and treat each other properly, do what's right, and give Him honor, glory, and praise
....out of love and gratitude for who He is, what He's already done for us, and what He continues to do for us, everyday.
He's there, His hand is in "everything". You don't want to know what this world would really be like if it wasn't.
...but ultimately, that is not what gives you eternal life. Remember, ...we're imperfect, and apparently, we can't save our own selves.
"as it is written, 'There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.'' (Rom 3:10,11)
"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Heb 9:27)
it's true our Life here Eventually Ends --- Everyone Dies --- but is it all over at that point?....or not?
God states that He knew what He was going to do about it all, ....before the foundation of the world.
...so just "what" is .......Eternal Life?
...we've all heard the 'tag-line' ...."We're all going to Heaven and be with the Lord" after we die. But that brings up a lot of questions. What is Heaven like? WHERE is Heaven (is it a location)? What will we be like, and look like? Will we all be dressed in white night gowns, fly around, and play harps for eternity? ....just 'spirits' floating around in another dimension or place? Is that all there is to the afterlife?
Most people forget (or have never read in scripture) ...the part that says that Jesus is coming back into this world at its climax at the end, a point in time when it is declared if He doesn't, ...no flesh would be saved (spared). Whatever that time period is, it's sounds like it's going to be pretty bad and unimaginable. It says He's coming in power to finally set up and establish His rule at "ground-zero" ....Jerusalem, Israel ...for a whole millennia over all of the known world, the final 1,000 years (hence the term Millennial "Reign" or "Kingdom"). Remember, based on genealogies in scripture, humanity started approximately 6,000 or so years ago. Take a look at the week and it's pattern. God created the known world in 6 days, and "rested" on the 7th day (the Sabbath).
Jesus is literally our "Sabbath Rest". We're supposed to rest in Him. ...and the world (at that time) will rest ...in Him.
...we rest in what He's done and accomplished on the cross and for all humanity, and ...what He's "going" to do ...in the future.
...but there's more
There's a LOT of theories, speculation, and theology about what happens to us after death, and what the body, soul and spirit are. ...but it can actually be compared to the temple of God: ...the outer court, the inner court, and the Holy of Holies. Scripture also states repeatedly that our own body is the temple of God (remember, man was initially made in His image).
It also says that our spirit will eventually return to God ...that gave it.
Now for the part no one wants to talk about.....
I can't say for sure exactly what happens, but Jesus (God Himself) gave us an example in the account of the Rich Man and Lazarus, and I don't think any of us should take it lightly. It would seem we are going to be very much aware or conscious of "something" for a period of time. Then there's "judgement" and after that ...the "lake of fire". Some believe that it's the actual end of a persons entire existence or life (soul death). Lights Out! Literally the 2nd death. Others have turned it into a horror show of perpetual eternal pain, torture, and suffering. I can't say for sure, ...but aside from all the conjecture or images of what hell is like, or actually is, ...at it's minimum or "core",
it's definitely one thing for sure....
..... Separation from God
....from the one who created you, gave you life, and all you've ever experienced and known.
....that scares me more than all the imagery of hell out there.
The bigger picture is always much bigger than any of us can concieve or "think" it is, and no one likes to think about it or go there. ...probably explains why so many don't think about death, until they're "confronted" with it. Most of us are content in our bubble or shell in this existence. Man and so-called "Science" (Scientism) attempts to give some rational explanations for the 'why' and 'what'. ...and the remainder they lie about with as much fervency and zeal as a religious person does. (Scientism is a belief system, ...a religion all of its own).
...and the sick sad realization of it all, ...is that this "separation" isn't something "God" chooses. It's something "we" choose, while we still "have" life and are able to breath. ...or maybe you trusted one of the many "Wolves" in sheep's clothing (pastors, churches, ministries) that convinced you that ...."God said something else", ...or "wants to punish you", ....or "demands more from you" than what He's already done.
...but the Truth is that without affecting our free-will, God can't do any more than He's already done. ...and no man can add anything to it, or change it. It was at His own cost, the largest price paid in the universe. Only the one true God possesses that kind of love and character.
...and now to answer the question
Eternal Life starts for those who trust in God their Creator, specifically, ...in Jesus and the sacrifice He made for us. It starts (as Jesus stated) when you are born of the spirit, ...born again. Jesus' choice of words here is very interesting. Why? It's not some poetic cliche. Because once you are born, you can't be unborn. ...but what does that even mean? How is someone born of the spirit? I can tell you what it's NOT. It's not something that "You" or another man makes happen for you, ...either by your own works or efforts, meditation, enlightenment, ascension, opening your "third" eye, having some spiritual experience, going through some ritual, being baptized, perpetually keeping religious 'sacraments', obeying and listening to some so-called pastor or church leadership, or through someone 'laying hands' on you. It's something that only God Himself (His Holy Spirit) does and makes happen, ...not by you or anyone else.
Scripture says it happens when you "hear and understand" the Good News and
....simply "BELIEVE IT".
It gets better....
Jesus did more than just resurrect physically from the dead. Scripture declares Him as "first fruits", the first to resurrect what is apparently a new kind of glorified physical body ...an uncorruptible body. He's already "showed" us. Whatever that is, it's probably a lot better and more unimaginable than what the first man and woman ever were, even in a perfect state with perfect DNA. Jesus said we're going to be like the angels (celestials) in heaven. I can't even imagine what that is like, but I know that literally means "eternal life": immortality, no aging, no death, ...and probably a whole list of a lot of other things we could never conceive of.
....even better....
Scripture also states that this world, the earth and the heavens we currently know of, are going to pass away. ...and
He's going to re-create a new earth and a new heaven. (Rev 21:1) He's literally going to start it all over again. What does that mean?
It means ...we aren't going to be floating around as spirits in night gowns playing harps. Think in terms of REALITY.
It means we're going to be living in a new world, ....where both a new physical earth and heaven intersect, where the veil is lifted and new dimensionality is experienced, a world that we will live in that lasts forever, one that never ends, in new physical bodies that never age or die, sharing some similarity to what the celestials (angels) are. The best news of all is that we will constantly be in the presence of our Creator God, and we will see Him as He really is.
Scripture declares it. THAT'S THE ULTIMATE PLAN! THAT'S WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AND TAKE PLACE IN THE FUTURE!
Whatever knowledge, curse, and limitations, and all the subsequent evil in this world, that started and avalanched from whatever happened from the first man and woman from the beginning, are going to be ....gone.
.
So, ...."How can I believe in God, ...or in something or someone I can't see or experience?"
Scripture declares that we are not only physical beings, but also "spiritual" beings that were originally made in the image of our Creator
...and scripture also declares that God is known by 'the witness of' and by the observance His "Creation". Not only did He create it but also states that He literally holds it all together.
"And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." (are held together) (Col 1:17)
...literally the force that's holding you, and that holds all sub-atomic 'particles'....together.
....and man is self-consumed with 'splitting', and 'smashing' them together, and we all know what force is unleashed when that happens....
An interesting thought about Creation and Genesis 1....
Even a lot of the things we've been taught by this current world system and so-called 'science' are very questionable. I won't go into all of that here, but ....if you do some critical thinking along with what you already know, scripture declares that.... God "spoke" His creation into existence (electromagnetics & vibration), "let there be light" (which is probably way more than just our 'visible' light spectrum)
.....think 'photons' (photos=light)......and 'matter' .....what we know as the 3 dimensional 'material' world
...a "firmament" that separates the waters,
....and that our world was created and existed, along with the start of all flora (trees & vegetation)
.....'before' the sun, moon, and stars were ever even created on day 4
(incidentally, which were given by God Himself for signs, times, ages, and seasons)
Now, does that sound absolutely 'absurd' to you, ...or
...is there a lot more to it we don't get or understand, haven't been taught, .....or that's been hidden from us?
I find it interesting that man was given dominion over the "earth", ...yet mankind is "consumed" with what is above them and below them. ...and as stated, mankind is equally "consumed" with tinkering and messing with the very building-blocks of life and of our reality:
our DNA/genetics, subatomic 'particles', as well as quantum (dimensional) metaphysics
Concerning mankind's earlier attempt at building a structure, a tower, with a base measuring from 75 to 200 square-miles in the plains of Shinar approximately 4,000 years ago to reach into heaven (Jasher), God makes an interesting statement:
"and now nothing will be restrained from which they have imagined to do" (Gen 11:6)
.....and in the recent short span of the last 100 years, we see what man is doing, and imagining and attempting to mess with and do....
....in our current time.
😞
I'm not sure why so many people hate God and Jesus, but I can probably understand why many of them do. Both God and Jesus have been so grossly misunderstood or misrepresented by all kinds of people, and by literally every so-called church, denomination, and world view in current times and throughout most of history.
...and if you are an unfortunate soul that has had your spirit "CRUSHED" by any of it, or just a victim of a really bad hand-out or by the circumstances you've experienced in this life ....I get it. I understand and can relate, because I've been there. I got hurt and physically and psychologically 'abused' by it, and I ran away. I was damaged and destroyed by "religion" and a false conception of who God really is. I didn't necessarily stop believing in God, but I ran from Him. I didn't even want to "think" about Him. Since then, I guess you could say I've had three "wake up calls" in my life, and devastated by the realization of how far the depths of absolute evil actually reach, occur, and go to in this world. I can only say one thing, ....that there are no words to describe it. I wanted out, I wanted to escape, isolate, or hide. That's just my experience. .....and unfortunately for many others out there, ...I'm sure it's been exponentially way far worse.
So .....Why are so many people "indifferent" towards God and Jesus, or even hostile?
...as stated, either from the hurt, abuse, or hypocracy they've experienced or witnessed in their life. ...or they've been raised, influenced, or convinced with other ideologies or beliefs. Then, there's those who never got a chance to experience any kind of a decent life. All they've ever known is disappointment, pain, suffering, and even extreme fear and horror. Look at all the death, disease, and suffering that's ocurred over the course of our entire history. People want to know, "Where is God in all of "that?" Where "is" He, and why doesn't He do something about it? Wouldn't it be better to just die and end it all, ...or never to have even been born at all? I'm sure everyone wants to know the answer to that one. Incidentally, that was my own big deep secret question for a long time. ...why was I ever even born?
Why was "anyone" ever born?
...the answer goes back to something is "simple" as what was stated in the video above
...a "thought" ....about the past 70 to 100 years.....
We live in a very unique and different time-period and culture where the age of industrialization and technology have "boomed", where education, scientism, and media (TV, movies, music, entertainment, internet, social media) play a "massive" part in influencing and shaping the collective thought of the masses globally, especially youth and children, the latter (media) complete with embedded and underlying subliminals, symbology, illusion, and more.
It's known as 'lesser magik', illusion and deception ...and something that can unfortunately turn into reality over time in our society
There are those who think they are inherently "good". Most are just affected or influenced by the world they are in, or believe in only what's in front of them or what they're presented with. For others, survival is at the heart of their existence, or just live for the moment.
But the list goes on .....hedonistic or intellectual values, or the desire for power and control, or worse.....
....the desire to literally "evolve" and become something 'other' or 'more' than what they were created to be, or to transcend, or even explore what they 'think' or believe will make them divine or "god-like".....
.....most of it can be summed-up as simply the "pride of experience in this life", or just pride in our own selves.
Last thought
Now breaking-away from everything else I've talked about ....What Is Your Deepest "Desire" ?
Wealth? Success? Fame? Popularity? Power? Control? Security? Health? ...a Long Life?
These are all "great" things and everyone desires them. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but...
...let's get serious and to the "root" of things. Over everything stated above, what do the majority of people really want and desire?
You knew this from when you were a baby, a child, a teenager, ...and even now. Simply.....
...to be Loved and Accepted
There are those who have experienced love from parents, family, friends,
......yet there are many others who have never known or experienced it, or ....a completely distorted or 'broken' version of it
but God loves you the most, the one who made and allowed you to be born ...in this world in its limited time-frame.
He wants you, and everyone else, to be with Him "forever" in what's scheduled to come
...the bigger picture that no one seems to think about .....others have never even been told or read about it in scripture
----------------------
(breathes deeply) ....so in final conclusion....
So how does a person get "Eternal Life"?
This much I have learned, and it took a lifetime...
Eternal Life is not a PLACE, a destination, or location,
or about constantly trying to live-up to any moral 'code' or standard.
and
It's not about climbing some "Stairway to Heaven"
...or about self-awakening, ascending, or figuring-out how to become "better" or even "immortal" on our own.
God's standard is "Perfection", and He says that ...no one that's ever lived ...has been or ever will be "good" enough.
...it's why God had to come down here and take care of the problem "Himself".
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
(John 3:16)
Scripture says ....Eternal Life is a FREE GIFT to all mankind from God Himself, for all those who "Believe on His Name". (1 John 5:13) That name is.....
Jesus Christ (Greek) ......Yeshua Hamashiach (Hebrew)
translated means "God Is Salvation" ... and ... "Messiah"
Jesus is God Himself who came as a human into this physical realm and took away all the transgressions and sin of the world. Our Creator fixed the problem with His own blood-sacrifice on the cross, wiped the slate clean, and freely offers Eternal Life to everyone who recognizes their need for what He's done for them and all of humanity, and simply "believes and accepts" it for themselves.
....it's for everyone.
It's a FREE GIFT. ...and all you have to do is receive and accept it, ...by "BELIEVING" it.
It's not complicated. It's actually very simple. Once again, here is the simplicity of the "Good News", in it's entirety....
....that Christ Died for Our Sins
according to the scriptures
...and that He was Buried, and that He Rose Again the Third Day
according to the scriptures
It's that simple. That's WHY it's GOOD NEWS! ....and you don't change it, 'edit' it, or "add" anything to it
but it wasn't simple for God. He had to go through it, and endure it (as one of us) until the very end. But He accomplished it.
He made the payment. With his last breaths, He said, "Tetelestai" (τετελεσται) ...."It is Finished".
...a more thorough breakdown of the meaning of this word is "Debt Paid In Full" or "Judgement Fully Served".
sounds great, maybe even makes sense,
...but WHAT "EVIDENCE DO WE HAVE? ...hOW CAN YOU "pROVE" IT?
Over 300 scriptural prophecies from over thousands of years
...written by multiple men of God and God's prophets , including the very first one made by God Himself in the Garden over 6,000 years ago, along with celestial signs and symbology, all directly point to only ONE man as Messiah, "God Himself in the Flesh", who already came, showed us who He was, fulfilled his Mission (the main reason He came), to give His life willingly as the 'Lamb of God' who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) He was literally "Pre-Announced" in detail for over a period of 4,000 years before He entered this world.
...and Jesus fulfilled those prophecies during the time He was here....
....including 29 of them in one day
...including the most important one, something that only God Himself could do.....
RESURRECT BODILY, PHYSICALLY FROM DEATH
...and seen by at least 500 witnesses.
...by the way, the odds of one man fulfilling just eight (8) of the major prophecies is
1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000
....definitely something to take into consideration, ...and think about....

disclaimer:
Everyone has a "belief" in something (a god, a philosophy, scientism, an ideology, etc.), along with it's corresponding doctrine or way-of-thought, and ultimately affects your decisions, what you think, and what you do in life.  Everyone has the "freedom" to choose what they want to believe.  From my standpoint, it's your God-given right, and He gives everyone that freedom and choice, to freely choose and Love Him.  The Creator never wanted a bunch of "robots".  Freedom is a gift too you know, ...but love and acceptance are a "choice".
Everyone and everything has a "purpose" ...and a means to an end, and you always have the freedom to believe what you want or choose to. No one can ever take that away from you. Enough said.

However....
The Creator, while on this Earth as one of us, made the following statement and warning.  It's for "Everyone".....
"Take heed that no one DECEIVE YOU".
....and there's a crap-ton of it out there
a veritable "Rabbit Hole" with all kinds of roads, pathways and multi-lane highways that never seem to end
For myself, I choose to believe the simplicity of what is called the "Good News", the evidence of my own eyes, senses, simplicity, research, the consistency & consilience of the scriptural & historical record,  and what my heart and conscience tell me.  Could it be that, maybe ...the true 'intelligent designer' of all things has already revealed Himself, who He really is, and has already come as scripture has declared, ...as one of us for a specific purpose, ...now fulfilled?
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans 6:23)
Thank you for making it through to the end. I've also posted some more videos below, hope you enjoy watching them.
I hope you choose this day to LIVE! It's a free gift from your Creator. He's already paid the cost of it while on this earth, and it's available by believing in Him and receiving Him, ...by "accepting" God's GIFT ....Himself.
...not by rejecting Him.
